FAQ
How often should your laser treatment be?
Once every 3 to 4 weeks, at most. Weak powered laser treatments at more frequent intervals do not achieve the results of a properly powered treatment, and can cause skin sensitivity. The procedure is done by a Ministry of Health (MOH) certified doctor.
Is the pore minimising treatment painful?
Most patients describe the procedure as many tiny warm dots on their skin. The Pore Minimising Laser treatment is generally well tolerable and does not require the use of any anaesthetic (numbing) cream.
Who will be performing my laser treatment?
Skin lasers such as the Pore Minimising Laser are medical procedures that requires training to perform. In Singapore, only medical doctors with appropriate training, certification and licensing can perform laser treatments. Never try laser treatments at a spa.
Will the laser thin my skin?
Medical lasers do not thin the skin. These lasers are non-ablative and do not burn off any skin layers. Instead, they do the opposite by increasing the thickness of the dermis layer, where the collagen, elastic fibers, and blood vessels are. Younger skin is thicker than older skin.
